Well I got my first drum kit at the age of nine, I played
in various school bands for a while and then joined my first
proper band at 14, it was a punk band called "Faeces". When
I finished with them I went on to play in a mod band called
"Off the Rails" then after them joined a rock called "Azerat
Hazard" this was all by the time I was 17.
I did a couple of battle of the bands but not a lot happened
there, this was all in London. I moved back to Stevenage when
I was 18, done duo's for a while like Simon and garfunkel
stuff and the monkeys (fcuk me what a sad cnut)
I also done a little session work for various bands like
Caribbean Delight and played a lot of Soca / Reggae type stuff.
Played in a band called Cads, all original material and another
covers band called One Love. Another was Carry the Can, which
was a Christian band! I didn't last long with them. When they
were singing about praying in the morning I was in the bogs
snorting whiz! They reckoned I played really well after a
piss.
Lastly I played with Lung, a mainly blues orientated band,
done a few gigs and festivals with them and then had about
18 months to two years break. After that I joined 20 Dead
Camels and after two rehearsals was down in Weymouth for my
first gig!
